This site is the result of a Red Bull fueled weekend, and here are frameworks and tools used along the way.
Gotta love Open Source.
WordPressThe WordPress framework was a natural choice considering the goals of this website. Primarily, I am of course using the site to attract new clients and showcase my portfolio- but in addition I am creating an online repository of various snippets and links that I find along the way.
As a Web Developer, you tend to need to use the same pieces of code over and over. I figure some other Designers and Developers could use this as a resource as well.
BootstrapBootstrap is just awesome, and serves as a killer foundation for any project- providing cross-browser and device architecture that halves development and prototyping time.
It can be a bit bloaty, but it’s not bad after minification, gzipping, and caching.
BootswatchBootswatch offers a few really cool themes that really extend the foundation that Bootstrap provides.
I’m using the ‘Lumen‘ theme to improve my forms, inputs and navigation primarily.
